Well here it is, how does it look? I haven't got a short string on it yet.

Here it is pulled to 14" with the short string.

Get the area closest to the handle on the right limb bending a bit more. Looks like it could hinge(about 12" out from the handle) just past that stiff area. You could get the near handle area bending a bit more on the left limb too. Not too much for now on either. I would got the right one done first and see how it looks. Don't pull it any farther until you get this done. What weight is it pulling at 14"?
-
Ok here it is braced and one after I took 5 scraps off just the right limb where you said. It is 50#'s @ 14"

The left limb is stifer than the right, primarily in the third nearest the handle. Give it 10-20 scrapes at a time until it bends more there. That should even your limbs up. Your outer limb on the right is stiff too.

Here it is again after scraping

Left limb, inner third, very stiff. Your fades seem very thick for a long ways. Get that near handle wood doing its share of the work.
-
Sorry about all the pics. but how does it look now? (http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm216/ranger500us/IMG_0875.jpg)
-
Just past the fade on the right limb needs a bit more scraping and from about 6" from the tip back for a foot or so looks stiff.
The left limb looks good to me.
-
Ranger3, are you flexing or excercising the limbs after scraping? I would hate to see you lose this one. I'm pulling for ya!
-
It's at 50@18 and I am going slooow

From the right fade out is still stiff. Be careful because just past that is almost bending too much.
You are coming along nicely, though!

Green means go; red means no.

That really helps John thanks

Man I really love these "everyone helps" build alongs. They are so useful for the newb (like me). I'm about to start my first couple bows and will probably do it this way. It's like 100+ teachers helping you at once. It definitely helps build confidence in yourself. Great work and build along.

OK here it 50@21 I think I messed it up

Flip it over to show the other side.

You're fine. Don't worry.
You need to concentrate your efforts on the inner part of each limb; more so on the left than the right. Give the left limb about 20 on the green spot. Then bend it 30 times to 20" or so. Do that until it is evenly tillered and then work that spot right. You'll probably have to even up the limbs after that.

Here it it reversed

Here is my lastest 50@25 going for 50@28

You need to make sure the rest of your weight reduction comes fromthe inner third on both limbs, particularly the left. Don't touch the midlimb on the right any more except maybe to sand it out. Get it tillered evenly at 26" and then shoot it with that short sdraw about 50 times. That'll tell you where to final tiller. Good job.
-
Here it is finished with horn tips and I ended up with a one inch set. hope you like it. Thanks for all of you guys help, if it wasn't for you all I would still be in the basement.

Good job, I have been watching this build intently. I know the emotions of going thru tillering can be tough.
