I second Dano. Murray Gaskins, down in GA, has the best prices on fine materials, at least if you order in small bulk, like 10 or more. But working with Murray is like watching a glacier melt on a cold day. Mike Y. at Pine Hollow also has good materials -- I'm currently building with some very clean hickory backings I ordered from him -- and he ships same-day most of the time.

Rudderbows is a good place as well...as Bowstick

hate to be a spoilsport, but it's a minimum, order of 50 slats to get free shipping... :readit:

Bob Barnes is right on the bamboo from Cali. I ordered 25 slats and the shipping was free. I just used my first slat and it worked great. Just call there telephone number and ask them. I got free shipping. Ask for Erik. Dean

It states free shipping on both 25 and 50 bundles on there site.
-
yes...free shipping and great quality....and like I said, Erik calls after the sale to see how you liked it... hard to beat that.
