Title: lamination issue

I am making a glass laminated recurve and have an issue with one of the laminations. This is a low poundage bow and the laminations that will be on the back of the bow (side facing away from the shooter) is very thin and has developed waves along the entire length. Since the lamination will be flattened out during the glue up by the force from the hose, will this cause a problem?

No as long as the lam was ground preciously.  When you start getting down to about .020 in thickness the lams will do that sometimes.  
Usually better to go with thinner glass and a thicker lamination.

Thanks Chad. That is what I was thinking being that the lam was so thin.
