One of my wife's friends want a bow for her husbands birthday. he shoots compound but loves longbows. I had a really premo ash board and whipped this up over the weekend. Usually i back every ash bow i make but this board was nearly perfect. 66" ntn 56# @ 28", 2" wide at the fades to 1/2' nocks. i also made some poplar arrows to go with it. they weighted 600 grns +/- 10 for all 4. it shoots about as well as any bow i have ever made. Maybe this will convinve him to go completely trad.

Very nice bow, and arrows too. I really like the handle. Wish I could "whip" them out like that.
