Some time back I saw (and thought I'd saved) a pic of a really nice setup where someone used 3 way edge clamps to do the layup on their form. I can't find the pic and I'd like to get more info... like the dimensions of the clamps and how far below the top of the form he drilled his through holes. I have a chance to get a bunch of these clamps today, but just am not sure they will work on my set up. Anyone use these clamps?

Dick, I think this is what you're talking about. I just think of it as a "3 way adjusting clamp". I've seen them used by different sorts. I either saw it in a build-a-long in TBM or Bowyers Journal a few years ago, can't remember. The one I remember, the guy took the two horizontal adjusting screws out and put a pin or bolt in it's place so you could run it strait through the form. Hope this helps.

Forgot, if I can find that build-a-long, weather it's on the web or in a magazine, I'll post the link or scan the material in and email it to you.

thanks.... I did get the pix I was after, and contact with the guy who posted them. Harbor Freight had these on sale today for $3.29 and we were headed over to that part of town. I have wanted to try them and bought enough for a new form I'm building.
