Title: Footing a riser
Post by: adam on February 04, 2009, 09:47:00 PM
Does anyone have a build-a-long or how-to on footing a riser?? I saw one in the how-to section but it was back in  05 and most of the pictures are gone. I'm making bamboo backed bows and would like to add something extra to the riser. Which i'm not even sure you could do it with that short of a riser. Most of my risers are 12"-14". Anyone thing would help. Thanks

Adam

Hello Adam,

My name is Arnold Smit (V-Archer) and I have made a build-along of a R/D bow that has a footed riser. Maybe this is what you are looking for:

Enjoy,

V-Archer, great stuff! That's an excellent build-along and the bow is beautiful. Nice work!
