I have another thread going on my first ever bow but this problem i decided needed its own thread...
My question is how do you make a string from sinew. to be more precise artificial sinew. I went to my local library and checked out the BSA merit badge book for archery, but its instructions for string making were for Dacron...
I remember seeing something in some thread i had gotten onto about a special knot/braiding it into a loop but i dont remember how i found that. any help would be appreciated.

Artificial sinew isn't the best string material. I like Dacron B-50 in the tan or light brown. Here is a string making tutorial I did several years ago.

Artificial simew will stretch a lot so prestretching is necessary and it still isn't as good as Dacron(B-50).
