Title: Previous Build a long
Post by: Eric in FLA on December 21, 2008, 05:44:00 PM
A few days ago I was using the kids computer while they used mine. They needed powerpoint for school work, my how times have changed...and was following a build a long where a member had built a laminated longbow for his son.

I believe they reside in Wisconsin, I remember the father inlaying and epoxying over a WTA medallion into the bow. The bow was named Legacy.

The detail of the build a long was fantastic as was the finished bow. I wanted to read this further, yet am now unable to locate that thread.

I would appreciate any help locating this.

Its a Great buildalong, one of my favorites.

It was done by RGK.  The coin insert was on page 13.

No worries, when I inlaid my coin/button I didn't show the process in detail.

I appreciate the kudos on the buildalong though  :D

Brad & Tim,

Thank You ! That is the one. Years from now when we cannot get a car in the garage due to all the bow building tools and supplies, I will be able to look back on this moment as when it all began.

Merry Christmas to you both and your families.

Eric
