Figured it was time to learn how to post multible pic's and always enjoy seeing pictures of others work.

I did the double knock thing on my sons longbow when he outgrew the weight. Great Job.

Cool bow!! What do you think of the tip wedges,are they a big help? Been thinkin about usin some!

Nice work Paul. Love the double nocks with stiff tips for two draw weights. Looks fast just sitting there unstrung.

The nocks are .47" wide at the lower nock and .32" at the tip.Not much extra weight there.
It is a smooth shooter.

I used the same limb profile as on my 3 piece and wanted mid limb working. They worked although I did go a bit heay on the grind.
.080-000. I think I could cut that by half

Same limb as the bow I had in Idaho.It's a pretty fast design. Replacing the back glass with carbon picked up a few FPS and lowered the stack height a bunch.
When I get a good day outside I'll compare it with the 3 piece with the same arrow and draw weight. Don't trust the numbers out of the chrony in the shop.
Heard Whip and yourself did some hunting at his camp. Also heard there was a story there about some close encounters but never got the details...

Would you happen to be left handed Deadpool?
Problem with experimentation and being a lefty is you end up with a lot of bows that make the grade (some that don't) and no homes for them.

Nice looking bow PV, that's a top effort for your first bow. I like the tip wedges, very good idea. What I do these days is I don't cut the shelf in and just shoot the new bows off the hand to tiller and them shoot them in and cut the shelf in when I seel them incase someone is a lefty...Glenn...

I tried it, its hard for me to shoot a lefty thats heavier than 45lb....but that was awhile ago, I dont know how I would be right now

If only my first one looked as good Glenn!! Been building bows for a while. Started out with all wood and self bows for years then started tinkering with 3 piece glass bows. This is my first one piece glass bow.Eventually when I get the formula were I want it it will become a two piece. We do a bit of bear hunting with hounds and I want a bow I can throw in the quiver and put together quickly when I get to the tree if the bear is a shooter.They take us through some mighty thick stuff.
Good idea on cutting in the shelf. I build my wood bows to be shot off either hand.
