Just wanted to show you my current build. This one is for my 4 year old. Limbs and Riser are Osage that I got from Kenny M.
Riser has been roughed out for the most part by file with probably one more session before I switch to sand paper.

Kenny,
Thats 3 peices of Micarta; 2x.125 sandwiching a .250 black piece. I thought about using some osage lams in there as well but couldnt get them parrallel enough. After this build I'll be buying or making a small drum sander to do those sorts of things.

Nice growth rings on that riser!
