Thanks to the kindness of a lot of Trad Gang members, my son Josh has the beginnings of a really great broadhead collection. We built two cases. One holds the modern, screw in type heads and the other holds the old school glue on heads. Each case will hold 125 heads and both are nearly filled. It has been a great project for the two of us. Trad gang members made up the bulk of the donations. Some folks like Woddy from Magnus, sent several dozen heads. Thanks to all those who helped out.

Thats pretty sweet. I see a couple of dead heads mixed in there and some others that are hard to come by. You guys did a fine job on the cases too!
OOOOOh man thats somethin.
Now THAT will look sweet on the lodge wall. Well done!

That's so cool! Great idea! Very cool father/son or daughter project. Wanna make one for me? :biglaugh:
The joy is making one with your kid. We spent a lot of time on the project. We both learned a lot about broadheads and the kindness of strangers. I bought Josh a membership in the American Broadhead Collectors Club. I hope he keeps adding to this collection for many years.
Wow. And WOW !
Looks Great!! Glad to have had a small part.
Yes, you a a few others. The problem in trying to thank all the Trad Gangers that helped by donating heads is that almost non of them put their screen name/handle in the package with the heads and since I don't know who's real name goes with which screen name, Josh and I are thanking everybody.
I don't see any of the old 6 blade Wasps or a POS that is plastic except for the cutting edge made in Arizona for just a year or two. If he doesn't send me the address and I can fix him up with those 2.
Cool looking collection.
Ron, I've been lookin' for clips like that in your cases - where'd you get them?
Can Hahaka, One of the club member gets them and we all buy them from him. They are just fuse clips.
Lechwe, We have both the screw in and the glue on version of the old Wasp "Greenie" 6 blades heads. We also have the 3 bladed version of both. We do have a few diff versions of plastic heads. Hilbre is one example as is "The Ultimate"
WOW!! That is some collection.
A guy could spend hours just examining and enjoying each one!!!
Good on all parties involved!!
Jake
Well done guy's,thats beautiful........bowdoc

That's a really great looking project! Good job to both of you! ;) :campfire:
Falk, I checked youy link. You seem to have been bitten by the broadhead bug yourself.
Man o Man ! I am not a jealous person but this has brought out some funny feelings. the kindness of the Tradgangers, the fantastic collection you guys have acquired. and those cases. i have been fretting over what type of case to make for my little collection and now i know how i want it to look.
And what a great father and son project.
Nice work guys !

Well, yes, since long - that's correct. Therefore I know what I am talking about - money wise ;)
That's awesome!
RGK, I may have a glue on head that your boy don't have. I just found out the name of it (I bought them about 15 yrs ago) it is a Black Swan bodkin. has a heart shape to it and a square ferrule. If he does it is the one on the top row on the far right. I realy like these heads and only have 4 of them but would gladly give one up to such a project.let me know if it is one you do not have!
As if the Trad gang was not generous enough :bigsmyl:
Today a package showed up from Trad Gang member Squirrel Bait.
WOW!! Thank you thank you  My son about wet his pants. It was full of all manner of broadhead that he does not have yet. Thanks again to Squirrel man and all the Trad gang members.
Nice collection, something to be proud of and time spent with you're son.
RGK,
Read my post just be for your last one and let me know if you can use it. Like I said I would be more than happy to contribute to such a colection!
Gamegetter, I can't say I have ever heard of a black swan bodkin. Do you have a picture of it? I don't want you to waste postage if we can identify it via a picture.
