goncolo alves,  anyone who were I can procure some for a riser?  None of those I normally buy wood from carry it.

Mike inquire at a local building center...TIGERDECKING.  They were putting it out for building decks once upon a time.

You can get it from woodworkers source- I use the Tucson store and if you call the manager he will send you what you request.

I live in Salt Lake City.... I see it online all the time, (****) and know several exotic wood dealers that carry it.  Cook's Woods in Oregon, anexotichardwood.com, and others.  

  If you come down to Salt Lake, McBeaths Hardwoods has it.  I use it a lot in all-wood composites.  Looks nice with black bamboo.
