Well, My third attempt finally resulted in a shooter that I'm pretty happy with. Thanks to some folks tiller advice on an earlier post, this one came out 64"N2N 53#@28". Bamboo backed osage with a strip of bacote in the handle. African blackwood for the tip overlays.
Here it is unbraced:

Took it hunting for the first time today. Shot some pine cones, scared a bunch more. Took some pic of her in her natural environment! Sure is a good feeling to carry afield a weapon of your own making.

You did a fantastic job on that one!

Looks great but ether its my computer or my bad eyes but it looks really thin at the handle fadout's. The full draw pic looks good tho. Must be the glare on the pic or something. Love it tho nice job.

Very nice!

Fine work Steve, so whats on the menu for #4?

Thanks for the compliments. As for what's next, I owe a bow to the guy who helped me get the osage. So a similar design for him. Then one for my wife and kid. Eventually I'd like to try a static tip...
Just got five more bamboo slats from Mike Westvang so hunting is the only thing standing in the way of #4.

That is a bow to be proud of!!
