Title: Wax on - Wax off
Post by: **DONOTDELETE** on September 10, 2008, 10:03:00 AM
Well, last night & this morning I put a total of 4 coats of wax on my bow. I'm using KIT carnauba car wax paste. I'll be putting one another coat when it gets a little sunnier out side & the Temps get little higher. What wax do you use to help keep out moisture..

I use the 'Tru-Oil' wax-it may be called 'stock sheen and conditioner'? I am at work right now but if it is vastly different I'll post later.
Auto wax works well too, like the stuff you are using-Turtle Wax works well.
But I would not rely on any wax alone.

Sorry, I do have Tru-oil under the wax... they are calling for 30% of rain on Opening day.

I like Briwax, it stands up to the grandkids just fine.

I've never used wax on a bow. Tru-Oil has always worked just fine for me by itself.  Pat

I've been useing bee's wax and a hair dryer for years.Melts right into the pours. But I'm sure any type wax will work. It's comes down to what you like.
Sure would suck if we all wore the same camo.
