I'm looking at possibly being in the Sarasota area in early March.  Is there any hunting within a two hour drive?  Hogs maybe or ???

When in Early March? Spring gobbler starts in the south region around the 1st weekend and in the central region around the 3rd weekend. You should be able to get to one of the WMA's in a couple of hours easy. Check the regs to see if hogs are legal then. Otherwise it's outfitter time .

Steve,
I live in Sarasota and can help you out with a few things here. Hogs are open and Turkey will be open. PM for you and let's see what we can put together.

You'd need to head to the south region. The Central region, or whatever they call it now, would be in between small game and spring gobbler then. Eric would be the man to help.
