My folks live in Darlingford, Manitoba, where white tails are the most common pedestrian traffic during the winter months. The deer stop in daily to help empty the bird feeder, and provide hours of entertainment!

Nice pictures! Thanks for sharing!
Do any of those big Manitoba bucks show up.
They've had a couple small bucks come in, and one doe with a sore leg that looks to be getting better, but no big bucks yet... Be nice if they'd stop in and leave a shed or 2 :)
Boy, dose that thermometer say 10 below?
Ho! That's a mightly low "bird" feeder! Lovely little buggers. I have no shame in appreciating the animals we hunt, beyond their role as prey. This is a hard winter here in CO and we have turkeys at our bird feeder ... but since it's illegal to feed them, even off-season when they're starving ... they have to make to on what dribbled to the ground from the feeder. Nice pics, thanks.
Not sure where the pics came from and I hope I am not posting someones pics unlawfully but my friend sent me these. I tthought it was kind of neat (http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh96/easternfisher/deeratdoor.jpg)
The cats thinking do I attack now or wait till there's only one? :bigsmyl:
It's 32 where I live right now and I'm cold. Can't imagine living where it remains below freezing until mid June. My hat's off to those up North. You guys are tough.
Nice pics. Here's a couple of photos I took from late last fall. This mulie buck is strolling through the middle of a town of 15,000, about a block from the high school where I teach. Matter of fact, the yard he's crossing belongs to one of our art teachers.
