Title: Alaska Winter Draw Results Available
Post by: Steve H. on February 03, 2008, 10:22:00 PM
The Alaska WInter Supplement Drawing (sheep. goat, Koyukuk moose) results are out and online, two weeks early!

No draw tags for me.  I know at least one TradGanger that drew a tag but pretty lean so far for the guys I know.

Just checked and my son, Matt, got the DS140 (Oct any sheep bow) permit and the DG345 which is goat on the south end of the Kenai.  Looks like I better get a little tougher on the stair climber.  Went two years ago to get my brother a goat.  Its tough at my age.

Yeah I checked Friday when they came out and nope I didn't get the TMA again! So far a perfect score on that tag. It's the only one I put in for.

AkDan - Good luck on the goats!

Bummer John, I was looking forward to learning sherpaism in real sheep country  ;)

guess I'll have to settle for goats and maybe an extra two weeks for deer since I am there, cough cough.

Yeah AkDan I guess you'll just have to "settle" for goats & deer. poor guy! LOL. That hunt looks to be fun. But how are you going to get those sea legs in shape??

sherpaism = pack animal = ... well you know!

John,

I dont know if I'll be skippering a boat this summer or not.  Right now it's not looking to promising, though really it is still kind of early.  Gonna see about finding a different out fit to run for, maybe in a different place though I'd still love to fish out of sitka.  Its what I know but I'm not real happy about my options to run for someone else there.

nope, finishing up a canoe.  Need to get it done so I can get a pair of 10 gauge flintlock fowlers done for turkey season.  Heading to Ks Ne and either Wi/Sd or if I dont draw one of those PA.
