ive been shooting 2019 cut to 28.5 with perfect arrow flight and now am trying to tune with ce heritage 150's at full length the 3 with feathers hit at point of aim and the unfletched hit at the same spot but when you shoot from 20 or 30 yards they twirly or fishtail and hit at angles other that straight but at the 15yds they dont show spine week or stiff because they hit where im looking the 2019 showed week and i cut off .5 til they hit at the same sighted point also at 20 yds even with a broadhead i can hit in a 6 inch circle consistantly also im shooting a viper deluxe 50lbs at 28 and i draw about 28 3/4" also im left handed if it matters the only thing that should be different is that a week spine should shoot left of center and a stiff right of center help would be appreciated because i really like these shafts i hate aluminums they bend too easy also im shooting 5" shield and 4" parobolic the groups at twenty yards are very acceptable 3 shots in a 4 inch circle or so and for me that is not bad but angle of shafts is not straight thanks Lee if any more info is needed let me know
come on guys i know somebody can help
i sanded til when you tap the string the arrow will fall off
also im using 125gr points and broadheads and would like to stay with that weight
come on guys help me out
I'm right handed and your groups appear to be better than mine. I think I'll lay low.
I've just started paper tuning using the instructions found on the Elite Arrows site. Might help you pinpoint the problem. Hope this helps.
I'm trying to understand what you are saying. Are the bareshafts grouping with the fletched shafts?
Is it the bareshafts or the feathered shafts that twirl and fishtail at 20 and 30 yards?
How far are you shooting the bareshafts?
you might pay a bit more detail to your release.I know sometimes mine do the same thing if I pluck the string and dont get a good release
its doing it with the fletched shafts
