Happy New Year, you bunch of hill billies.
What are your knife making goals for 2015?
Happy New Year Y'all. I made it to our SC Farm and hope to be ready to forge by Feb. This past year has taken a toll on my forging with a couple of surgeries that side lined me. I'm really looking for 2015 to be a Fun year!
I hope you're all healed up, Jeff, and have a great knife making year. I do enjoy your knife making adventures.
It's about the adventure and the "ride".
There are just too few days in the year for me.
I'd like to take some serious steps in my MS pursuit.
That might entail visiting some other makers across the US.
That takes time and $$ - both of which I am short on.
But, it'll play out.
And I need to spend more time in my canoe in remote places. Listen to the quiet.
I have several things I want to try this year that I haven't done before. Not sure what all I'll actually get around to. Only finished three in 2014. I'd get busy on something else and before I knew it is gone three or four months without touching one. I am off to a good start for 2015 though. Worked on one today that I think I can finish this weekend.
Happy 2015 :) . My goal(s) are twofold-get my first mill and make my first folder. I've been saving for the mill and got some good tooling on sales at the end of the year. I'm hoping to have the mill in a few months. I've got some designs I've been working on for folders and really hope this time I get a working one in the end. Of course...that all comes after I finally finish up a few other blades and sheathes for some friends....should be easier now that football is winding down.... ;)
