I made a couple tools this weekend. First is a small wheel holder, made from 6061. I put the two pieces together with 1/2" OD - .260 ID aluminum pipe which is inset in a .200 deep tenon in each of the side pieces. Works really well.

Next is a scribing jig made from a 1 1/8" piece of aluminum round stock, a cut of 2" angle iron and a cam lock. I drilled the pen hole so it would hold a fine tip sharpy real snug and milled a slot so it can adjust up down as well. The bottoms are polished flat on the disc sander. This is just what I needed.

nice work!!! I like that scribe a LOT
First class work. :campfire:
Wow, those look great. That scribe would be SUPER handy. I use a marker to help keep my center line on my handle material as I remove material, but would be a lot less clumsy of an operation with that scribe. Nicely done :) .
Jeremy
Great job Brad, I like it!
Dang it Brad, I'm jealous of your ability to build stuff! I thought you were just a boring accountant! ;) Very nice work AGAIN my friend!
I have no idea how I ended up with so many posts!
Thanks Gents!
