Well I thought I post up some pics of Danny arrows that I made for him. Mr Rowen, being the Gentleman that he is, had the patience of a saint when waiting for these arrows to arrive.
I'm not real sure of the timeframe but it was months! With a two close mates of mine passing away; the buying of my first home and a new job in Iraq had all my spare time was sowen up.
A closer look at his Forgewoods, and the cresting/splice work...

And how they went out in the mail. I just hate sending arrows in a tube, so I put them into a hard case for him...

Well thats about it. I hope you like the first Dozen mate? The next Dozen will look different as in colours.
Hope the find there way to Guam alright...

Not real happy with the sizing option in Photobucket these days... how does one keep it around 600px?
no words to describe the arrows and tradgang
Those are beauties!
I dont think I've ever seen a nicer set of arrows!!
Beautifull!
Eric
Al once again you've outdone yourself! Those are incredible!
They'll look good anywhere, Al: on an arrow-rack on the wall, in a quiver, on the string, flying through the air, and especially buried-up to the fletching in some magnificent game animal!
Nice lookin arrows.
Flat out sensational!
Al, my friend, they are fabulous! Just Fabulous!!!
Cannot wait to see them in person.
Thank you my friend.
Danny
Oh, when you upload pix to photobucket, just click on fourm size and it will make them the correct size,600pix.
Danny
Those are beautiful !!!!
Man those are nice. Im hoping to get started soon on arrows like that. Ive always shot carbon and trying some woodies for the first time when they get here. Learning to build beautiful woods like those is something I definetly want to try.
Those are some mighty fine looking arrows there mate!
  :notworthy:
Al,is the profile of those feathers a custom cut by you,or one you can buy? By the way, beautiful work! Leland
real nice work!
Those are some great looking arrows Al! Thanks for sharing! ;)
Very nice, Al.
Thanks for the color scheme ideas LOL.
BP
All I can say is WOW! You are very telented.
Wow...my mouth is hanging open...I've never seen arrows that nice. I might post these pictures on my wall as artwork. Beautiful :notworthy:
Al, I use PhotoFiltre. I posted here for a free photo editing software and someone advised me about it.. Great for editing, and saving.. Just do a Google search. Beautimus arrows for sure
Thanks for all the kind words people. When putting arrows together I must say I've learned most I know from people here on tradgang. People like BrianP. There his colours, I just "doctored" 'em for me... or should that be Danny!
Thanks for the tip Ken. I'll look into that site.
Leland, mate that cut is from the vairo Clipper and the style is called "Orca". I like it as you don't see it all that much.
Now, to try and enlarge them pics.....
You did those Forgewoods justice with your careful and beautiful work, Al. It made me happy to see such a wonderful set of arrows going to a fellow like Danny.
Once again, something in the world has been set into balance. :) :campfire:
Al,
You give me credit where it is not due. I am sure any color schemes I have used, I saw somewhere else first. I wouldnt have ever thought to splice feathers like that, if I hadnt seen it done before. I am not too original.
I really like that ORCA cut. Do you notice any added noise over a standard shield cut? I need to bend a wire and give that a shot.
What is the job in Iraq? You cant get Castlemane XXXX there, can you?
BP
G'day Brian,
mate I really like the ORCA cut for looks and it's ability the strighten up an arrow when shot. As for noise, it has a tad bit there but not that noticable down range. As much as your shield cut I would think.
Oh and I'm working the private security sector.

Godspeed, Al.
