Title: Two knives for two sons
Post by: Idahomike251 on December 08, 2013, 12:47:00 PM
Good friend of mine in Montana asked to make two knives to give to his sons for Christmas. One son wanted a classic light weight drop-point, and another wanted an "Uncle Henry" design.
Drop-point has tapered tang with stabilized flamed Hawaiian Koa. I used stabilized buckeye burl on the second knife. Both blades are mirror polished .140" thick D-2 tool steel.

The drop point is my favorite as well, but both are very nice.
