Title: look what the shrew can do
Post by: jrchambers on January 31, 2008, 10:00:00 PM
last night the ups man came with a new to me ss samurai i purchased from longbow cody.  today i took it out and saw what it can do.  it is the quietest and smoothest bow i have shot.  needles to say the first group didnt hit the spot but the group was perfect, so perfect the first two shots ended like this

Hey it balanced that arrow right on top of the other one. Pretty cool, I didn't know Shrews could do that. They are pretty consistent shooters though and aren't bad at all for robinhoods.    :biglaugh:

I think your arrows are a little too long and I would move the fletching to the back of the awwow instead of the middle.
But what do I know.

I just hope you didn't use up all the good shots on the first day. Nice shooting you might want to loosen up your groups just a hair.    :archer:      :clapper:      :biglaugh:

i had no idea how beutifull this bow was from the pics.  I know see what all the fuss is about, i thought i was pretty cool having my bob lee shoot as quiet as it does, wich took lots of experimenting, the first shots with the shrew were much quieter with no tuning, also it took months of shooting 3 hrs a day with the lee to get a rbnhood.

Yep, they are notorious for doing that. Beware especially if you shoot carbons it can cost you a lot of money.Good luck and good hunting! It's a great little bow.

I had the same problem with my Shrew.  What a cool problem to have.  Enjoy your new bow!

The accuracy package use to be an option but they all have it now.

Pixie dust mixed into the finish.... a little bit of magic in every shot....     :archer:
