veneers are very thin layers of wood,usually they are around 0.02" thick.
they can be sawn or peeled off while the whole tree is rotating and the mother of all plane measurer is cuting thin veneers.
they are used as the last layer under clear glass.
they just add some beauty to the bow.

i even dont know where they run there company.
im from germany and have never heard of a company
like"Webbs Veneer Company".i swear it. :D
how do you get that impression?

a limp is made of glas,veneers and a core material like actionboo,red elm,or hard maple to name a few.
if you want i can make some pics when i make my next bow.
it will have curly bubinga as veneer.

i will do a "veneeralong" if you dont mind.
but it will take 2 weeks or so,since im out off glas at the moment.
