What are veneers exactly?
-
veneers are very thin layers of wood, usually they are around 0.02" thick.
they can be sawn or peeled off while the whole tree is rotating and the mother of all plane measurer is cuting thin veneers.
they are used as the last layer under clear glass.
they just add some beauty to the bow.
