Just got some of these. Noticed they really sharpen easy and mount TRUE. These are about the only heads I have NOT used. Are they TOUGH. Any in the field experience? I noticed they have been around a long time. Any thoughts? Thanks. BILL
Mount 'em and shoot 'em and you will find them to be very tough, esp the Standards with the triple thick point. I've been shooting the 165 Express for a few years now and am very happy with it. They sharpen easily and hold their edge very well. Even coming out the other side, mine still shave hair.
Bill,
You've got mail.
I was not to happy with the 175 gr hit a turkey right in the wing but and the broadhead bent and did not penatrate.

I started shooting 125-grain Ace Standards in 2004. Since then I've successfully used them to take a cow elk, a 200# wild boar, a bull moose, about a dozen or so whitetail deer and more small game than I can remember.
They mount straight, sharpen easily, hold a great edge, penetrate extremely well and are one of the toughest broadheads you'll ever find.
Okie, did not get it. Thanks. BILL
You might pay more but you won't get any better than an ACE standard. I second (third?) what Fletcher and Jason said.
I love them and I stump shoot them all the time. Held up alot better then the zwickeys Ive shot. I would reccomend them to anyone.
Ace Standard 160...great head.
