I recently acquired a decent stock pile of small nicholson files and made these out of a couple of em, one with a long handle and the other short handle with a horizontal carry sheath for EDC.
I have been putting the small one through the paces and so far I am impressed with this steel.Both have stabilized buckeye burl handles and vine file work.
