So most of you guys know I don't do very many "shiny" knives, I prefer rough, rugged and ready to go!
But I have a knife show coming up in a few weeks, so I thought it might not be a bad Idea to have something flashier on my table. This is the first time I have used Koa, and I am totally hooked. This stuff is simply fantastic!! The clip grind was an after thought and I am glad I did it.
OAL is 9.5", 4.75" blade of .214" 5160.

i think that looks great and you would be surprised of how many peoples eye you will catch with a shiny blade like that in comparison to your usuall knife i like both but if i had to pick one it would be this one. in my mind all knives should be rugged and ready to use no matter they are chrome finish or just out of the forge with a sharp edge. but my preferance is a smooth shiny finish for the simple fact that when cleaning the smoother the finish the harder it is for things to stick to them. same concept as roughing up a surface before epoxy or paint. that is just my 2 cents , great job and good luck at the knife show!!!

I'm think'in your needed more after thoughts !

Great job-I think this one shows off your skills a bit more, though I enjoy seeing your others, too. You should take some pics of the group of knives you're taking to the show, then the ones you bring back-bet it'll be easier to pack up for home ;) .

Thanks for all the kind words guys, It has been about a year since I started doing this. And I wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't for the knowledge and help I have received from the guys willing to share the craft with others. :notworthy:

Beautiful, and it would match the veneers on my Shrew!
