Title: Marriah bows?
Post by: Robhood23 on January 29, 2008, 11:34:00 PM
I am wondering if any of you could post some pics of your Marriah bows on here for me. Ric doesn't have many on his website and I am debating on either ordering one of these or a new silvertip.
      Thanks< James

Thanks guys. How would you compare his bows to other bows? I have been looking for a used one to try but can't seem to find any so if I want one I will have to order one.

Probably the most stable bow I own, quietest recurve I've shot.

I generally don't like compairing bows as each bow is different in it's own way. Something I like/dislike my not apeal to you. With that being said;

My Thermal is very fast and very quiet for a recurve. Not too hard on the eyes either. Ric's bows are top notch and you are correct. You don't see them for sale very often. When they do come up for sale, they go quick. That in itself says a lot about the bow and bowyer. Ric is a outstanding fella to deal with.

Nice bows-outstanding value. I have owned both and have sold my Silvertip but still own the Mariah thermal-a very quiet shooting bow. I liked the grip on the Silvertip a little better, but I am more consistent with the thermal.

JL, our bows are quite similar. Zebra and macassar ebony on mine with his trademark bloodwood accents. He didn't have person to do checkering when I got it otherwise I'd have gotten that too.  I agree with your post too.

Ric makes an awesome bow..........

I would love to try his bow at 75# in 60" with a checkered grip. His grip is really nice and more slender than a Silvertip. Not as much palm and a little lower wrist.

No disrespect to anyone here or Ric but my money is staying with a Silvertip if I had to choose between the two.

I have owned both also..........

Tim ;-)

Ric is the man. Super nice, hard to get a hold of though. When you do its worth it. I have a thermal and its one of the prettiest bows Ive seen. Shoots great and has a good feel. Never shot a silvertip but they look nice.
