Title: steer hide

i just received an awsome full tanned steer hide with the fur on i like to make a plains style quiver and some other things any sugestions or ideas wondering if i should face the fur in or out

Save the small pieces; they make great riser shelf rugs.  :bigsmyl:

I would go hair out.Im making one myself with a black and white calf hide.

Where can one purchase a full tanned steer hide?

 Go to tandyleatherfactory.com.  You can also check for uppolstery stores in your area, but I recomend Tandy.

doeboy mine was given to me by a woman who used to work at a hide processing plant the hide was tanned in italy and sent back to her hekerhunter thanks thats what i was hoping to hear the hide has a flame mahagony look to it
