...and here is the finished knife along with some detail shots. 3 1/2" Mirror polished D2 hardened to Rockwell 60C

Next obvious step since I have some more of the 1/2" bar stock is to make another with built-in hilt and butt cap with tapered tang. This will increase the difficulty by an order of magnitude, but I just have to try.
