Blade is now heat treated and stabilized myrtle and hard rock maple liner handles are rough fitted to make sure of the quality mating.

Blade receives "Stage 1" polish. This is next to the last step in mirror polishing.

Handle scales are attached, and they are sanded to 600 grit finish.
