this weekend!
It is a Mouse Hole anvil at about 80# I found at a local trade day. I hammered out my first knife on it tonight and WOW the difference is amazing! I used a ball bearing to test my choices and this one was cheaper and in much beter shape than the Peter Wright I was looking at. And the ball bearing nearly bounced over my hand when dropped from about 8 inches.... I payed more than what I have seen is typical but they are few and very far between around here.
