Title: Spalted Magnolia and 1084 Camp Knife
Post by: gables on June 16, 2011, 10:47:00 AM
Here is another that has been on my bench a while. A forged 7.5" blade, 13" OA, 1.5" wide. This is the first knife I clay hardened. I tested this knife last season on 7 deer and it performed great. The handle is stabilized spalted magnolia and the fittings are stainless. The slight finger swell is forged and polished out. This was inspired by French trade knives.

Very nice. I like the contrast between the wood and the dark wood and the stainless.

Boy, you did very well on that one.  I love the profile, and the handle is striking.  :)
