I wanted to show you this combo I just finished. The damascus knife has a handle made from Stellar's Sea Cow bone (extinct).
I got into the pithy part where the marrow was, I filled in with clear epoxy (Smooth On), it's like a window back into time.
The sheath has a copperhead inlay. The copperhead committed suicide under my tire near my home!
I am very happy with the results.
Thanks for looking. Dan

I like both Dan, and they compliment each other.
Gotta try a inlaid sheath sometime.

Dan, I really like that one, especially the double finger grooves. looks like you would have great control of the blade. The sheath is great as well. The colour of the inlay and the handle, compliment each other very well.
