Here is a 12.5" over all, 6.5" W2 clay quenched blade. Cold hammered texture on ricasso/spine. This is the one I would make for myself if my wife let me.
Anybody guess the wood? My block wasn't labeled.. I'm thinking English walnut. I did some fooling around with stains so it might be hard for you to tell. I'm waiting to hear from Itsa Burl to find out. It was in a big box I got from them a while back...

Scott,
I really, really, REALLY like that knife, bud.

Scott, You have good distal taper in the blade and a nice geometry in the handle. Good looking knife.
Going for your JS soon, are ya?

Thanks a lot folks.
Lin.. next year I hope. I've been doing some knives lately that have elements in them that allow me to practice for that kind of blade. After the show I plan to make my first test knife.. and I would love for you guys to give me some feedback.

Scott,
That is my favorite from you by far.
The quench line in the blade looks great, and I lover that blade profile.
Well done.
