Long story short, this was made as a gift from my best friend to a retired Army colonel for all the kind things he did for her. Mirror polished D2 blade with Tamboti and Idaho mule deer as a main handle material with Zebrawood accent (http://i595.photobucket.com/albums/tt31/mokamura_photo/002-15.jpg)t.

Mike -- I really like the styles of the knives you produce. They are distinctive and recognizable as being made by you, even without seeing your name on them. This is among my favorites of the knives you have posted here on TradGang. Congratulations on such a fine knife!

Thank you guys, the old colonel tried to corner me at our last Idaho German Shorthaired Pointer Club field trial to talk about making him a knife. He didn't know it at the time, but this knife's was nearly finished, and I had to avoid him like hell (politely) for the rest of the field trial so that he did not order a duplicate knife from me.
