Well, I tried making two more. They are made from blank blades that I purchased, and the handles are from slab wood from a pallet, like the last two I made. I need to get a little better at final finishing before starting my next using the damascus blank that I bought. This knife making is cool. I usually have all I can do to fletch arrows!

I put some red material between the blade and wood on the bigger knife.

Thanks guys. Clarence, you kind of got me started in this by recommending a couple good suppliers of blanks. Oh, the knife I purchased from you a while back is absolutely gorgeous! Far better quality than what I am capable of. I am almost afraid to take it up the mountain with me. Thanks!
