I'll be heading down to the Tenn Classic the end of the month. Whip & I will meet up for the weekend then head off to do a little bow fishing with Don and Skyler.
I just found out that one of my favorite sheath artists will be at the Classic...Rebecca Parker. Becca does some amazing Indian/Frontier style quill work on brain tanned leather. Even though I have several of her sheaths, Becca has only seen my knives in picture.
Here is an early period style neck knife that I just finished for the trip south. Tea stained bone handle with sinew wrap to hide my pinned tang. OAL 6 1/2 inches 5160 ground out & finished completely Before quenching. I then antiqued the blade with Laural Mountain browning solution...wrapping the blade in fabric to texture the steel. Finally fitting nicely in one a Becca's neck sheaths...tippit

Geez Jeff, that's a beauty!
If you've got any more you need a sheath for, don't forget I still owe you one ;) I can throw all my leatherworking stuff in the truck & do it over the weekend if you like.
