It's been ten years since I made a knife, so I finally decided to make one for my brother. D2, 3/16", T. Tang, stabilized mequite, 60Rc. I really need alot more practice. (http://i664.photobucket.com/albums/vv7/lilbobby_photos/Mojo001.jpg)

Thanks for all the compliments fellows; Mr. Lin, the guard is Nickel Silver and is pinned and silver soldered.

The configuration is interesting to me. I take it that you slotted the guard and slid it up onto the tang and right against the back of the blade ricasso.
This is a very good option for a handle, guard, and blade transition.

Yes Lin, you're exactly right!

great looking blade there. im a sucker for curves.
