Up for your review is a bird knife I'm donating to my dog club (German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Idaho) to be auctioned-off as a fund raiser. 3 1/2" D2 blade has a hardness of Rockwell 59C, and I think the blade shape is well suited for use on birds and small game. I assembled the handle using stabilized spalted honey locust/.010" white liner/red dyed stabilized mango to get the effect that I was looking for. That is outstanding! Beautiful work. :clapper:
Birds, yes, but I prefer a knife about that size for field dressing 200 lb whitetail.
