Who makes one? Any pictures? Or knaped flint scales?
-
James Parker from Huntworthy Productions (a sponsor on this site) is one of the best danged knappers I've ever encountered. Plus, he's one heck of a nice guy :)
-
My dad does alot of flint knapping and has been doing it for along time. He does great work. If you want me to send you some pictures of his knives let me know

I could fix you up with something like one of these....

Charlie,
That is absolutely BEAUTIFUL work. Truly unbelievable........I believe that you were born with something that some of us spend a lifetime trying to attain. You never cease to amaze me.

Nice work. What are the handles made of?
-
Thanks ! The handles are proximal phalanx from Whitetail deer. They have been submerged in a peat bog for some time.
-
Are they a base tang knife? I have a couple I have dug up. Would not want to use them tho but a cool corner Tang knife I would like to have made to use... Maybe we could work something out on one of them if you like?
-
Wow! I like everything about those! Very impressive!

Here is one I picked up from Ryan Gill at Gills Primitive Achery. I really liked the pinkish stone. Very reasonably priced too.
