Title: My swap knife finished
Post by: longbowman on February 24, 2011, 08:02:00 AM
I finished my knife I'm putting in the swap.  I thought it turned out decent but I'm still working at this!

That's a beaut. Looks like it fits the hand very comfortably. What kind of steel?

The blade was cut out of an old 60" grinding wheel core from a factory in PA that closed 20 yrs. ago.  There's enough material in one of those to make 100+ knives.  It shaped up good and came out 58 Rc and sharpens beautifully.
