I'll start this one off by saying that I'm not a knife maker, or a sheath maker! LOL
I bought these oyster knife blanks from a gentleman on another forum. These blanks were a lower grade stainless, which is great for this project. I used ebony and osage for the scales. All I had to do is grind the bevel, attach the scales, shape and polish everything, and build two mini-sheaths. Not too much work right? Why did it take me nearly a week? :) I decided not to polish the blades too much, since they will be trashed after the first oyster roast. I jeweled the thumb levers with a pencil eraser and some polishing compound. I just chucked half a pencil in my drill press. Here is what I came up with.
