Title: Bowie Redo

This is a Redo that one of our members posted. His name is Steve (Seabass) up in Ohio. He got this knife when he was a young boy from his dad, He then gave it to his grandfather BO, which was a knife collector. Steve Lost his grandfather at the age of 88. He wanted to have this knife redone in memory of him, The first picture is not the knife that he sent me,(I forgot to take a pictre), but it looks about the same, He wanted to put a new handle on it and clean it up, and sharpen it ( it had never been sharpened), He picked out Cal. buckeye, I put a mosaic pin in the handle, I had to reshape the handle because the handle was bigger then the wood i had ordered. I thought I would make him a new sheath to go with it. I hope he likes it.

Lin this was the knife I talked to you about the guard, the guard was pressed on so it was easier to finsh out. Thanks for the help

i just want to say thank you again to Dana.also thank you to anyone who helped.the pics don't do Dana's work justice.he did an awesome job for me.my grandfather was a great man and now i have a beutiful knife to remember him by.i could not be happier.thank you so much Dana,steve
