Title: Favorite footwear for stalking

I have a burning desire this year to do more hunting on the ground via still hunting or stalking, kinda take a break from the norm and try to get a fat doe this way. Normally I use rubber LaCrosse 800 gram Thinsulate boots, but they are not quiet enough in my opinion. What do you ground pounders use to stay sneaky?

Wool socks is what I prefer.

bear feet here in new zealand in the summer and diving boots in the winter

A good Ol pair of Chuck Taylor's high tops. Light weight and easy to wash. Get the white ones and dye them green......Just a thought......

i always take my boots off when i go to stalk mode, so socks   :knothead:
