Here is a small ****** 9" OAL, from W2 clay quenched with hamon. The handle is naturally featured diamond willow with rawhide bolster wrap. Copper handle liners with file work.

I photographed from another angle and in different light to show the hamon better...

Hope you enjoy!

That handle material is fantastic. Where did you find it?
-
Thank you...
There is an old fellow around here that makes walking sticks from it. He gives me cut-offs all the time in case I want to use it. I never messed around with it until now.
Based on how this one turned out, I'm going to send a bunch out for stabilization....

I said it before....I LOVE the style of you knives!!!! That is a beauty!

Beautiful work Scott. Nice grinding. Lin

I will say it also, Man I like your style.

Thanks a lot. I think I'm gonna do this one again with some copper cable mokume bolsters I just made up and some killer redwood lace burl I was sent.
-
Your definately doing some cool work Scott, I'm really liking your stuff. Never thought about using that diamond willow, got lots of it down on the river. Let us know how it stabilizes.

Thank you Doug...
Oops! Did I break some rules?? Sorry about that.. I guess this is a hunting knife forum.. I should remember that.
But what happened to my second image?? I thought I had it the same size as the others.... Sorry again!
Will this work?

That is a awesome knife. Sweet work

your knives look like they would match up well with Chuck Burrows' sheathes...
Have you seen his work? Look up Wild Rose Trading Co.

Thanks Ray.... I'm familiar with Chuck's work. John Cohea does the same type of my work. I posted a camp bowie with bighorn sheep scales that John made the sheath for... I love that style. Someday I hope to be able to have one myself...
