Title: Laser etch

I have a knife that someone gave me and it has laser etching on the blade. Can this be removed? Do I have to have the whole blade etched to get rid of it! Thanks in advance.

Can you post a picture of it? Is it Stainless or High Carbon steel?

Of looks like stainless. I can email Picts. Only have my iPhone
