Title: Twist Ripper Knife
Post by: skullworks on December 02, 2010, 09:28:00 AM
Here is one I just finished for a friend. 1095 & 15N20 Nickel damascus in a twist pattern. Blade is 6" and OAL is 10-3/4". Black liners and mosaic pins in stabilized maple burl. Thanks for looking.

Skull - are you forging all these blades?  You must have Popeye forarms!  This one is sweet - really like the blade profile.

That's a beauty, Clarence. I got the camel bone and Damascus caper, and it is sweet -- perfect for dressing and caping deer, elk, moose, sheep, antelope and other thin-skinned game animals. The one you have pictured here looks to be a great general purpose, steaking and boning knife.

I wish! It was made by Grand Leavitt.
