Title: My NEW RUANA
Post by: Suty on October 24, 2010, 03:47:00 PM
Well here's the new addition to the Family. Its a Ruana 28CD, and I have found my new best friend. I LOVE THIS KNIFE, the Craftmanship is awesome, the weight, the balance, all of it comes together for me in this Knife. I guess I will need to send it to Chris at Treestump Leather to build it a new home to park it in, when not in use. Anyway, Just wanted to share this with y'all. Tu Compadres de Tejas, Suty

I like it!  Looks like it would fill the hand proper and stout knife for any task!

Steve , Thanks... I feel this Knife is Perfect for me. I've Bought Knives from Makers here on Tradgang, all of them have been equal in Craftsmanship, but this Ruana just feels and fits right. Maybe it's in the handle thats cast to the tang....I dont know. Anyway, Thanks my Friend. Cazadores de Tejas, Suty

with all that metal in the handle area does it get too slippery when you get blood on your hands?
 :dunno:

Great looking knife, looks like it would do the trick on about every job you could ask from it.

From skinning a buck, to slicing up a zombie.

Carbonflyr: Thanks, and  I have never given that much thought, but I suppose it's possibility. I will have to go out and put to use, so we can find out . I'll have to go and scare up a hog or two this weekend.

Horner: Thanks for the comments, and yes , I need to try Zombie slicing and dicing..... First I'll try it on a big ol' Texas Hog.  :)
