Title: Illinois Pig Sticker
Post by: kbaknife on October 13, 2010, 06:50:00 PM
Of course, all the pigs around here are tame, but so what, right?
I spent more time trying to photograph the hamon than I did making it!! Rather than my normal etched and highly exposed hamon, this is fully rubbed out from a nicely done etch and quite impressive in real life.
Sorry I couldn't bring that to you.
Make believe!
Some really nice figure in this high quality African Blackwood. I deeply etched the 1903 wrought guard.
She's a handful.
